Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is preparing to solicit bids for the construction of its new Manufacturing Innovation and Learning Lab.
The private research and engineering school in Troy will invest $2.2 million to keep its students on the forefront of technology as manufacturing demands skills in nanotechnology, robotics and big data.
The project includes a physical expansion of the college’s Low Center for Industrial Innovation and the addition of new machines and advanced manufacturing courses. More
