Objective/Summary of Responsibilities:

FuzeHub’s brand is one of its biggest assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the FuzeHub brand continues to stay strong and relevant in New York State and beyond. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns and projects for the organization that enhance FuzeHub’s brand and its communications. We are seeking a creative designer with a good eye and attention to detail, that also has experience moving marketing projects from concept to completion.

Job Functions & Tasks:
Responsibilities may include:

  • Implementation of the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Execution of new creative solutions and concepts to enhance FuzeHub’s marketing
  • Design and development of marketing collateral and projects to promote and market FuzeHub to NYS
    manufacturers (reports, videos, collateral, and trade show materials)
  • Oversight of new design and roll-out of website projects and new web pages/websites
  • Content creation and design of e-newsletter, blogs, social media and other marketing activities
  •  Development of key messaging and communications through multiple channels
  •  Coordinate content across multiple online/offline communications channels
  •  Work with executive team in managing major communications and PR efforts
  •  Establish style guidelines in support of developing a stronger brand platform for FuzeHub, and ensure all brand
    guidelines are being followed within FuzeHub and by its marketing partners
  •  Design of annual publication, event programs and materials
  •  Understand effectiveness of all marketing channels and monitor and communicate the results to management
  • Support and coordination for the NY MEP Marketing Group

Requirements & Qualifications (including education, special knowledge, certifications, skills, etc.):

  •  3-5 years of experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
  •  In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and animation
  •  Degree in creative design, advertising or related field preferred
  • Experience designing and wire framing web pages, WordPress knowledge a plus
  •  Creative thinker with a strong understanding of current design and technology trends
  • Proven success in communication and writing
  • Experience in web applications, design and database management and e-marketing
  •  Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize own work

Physical Characteristics

  • Ability to lift and carry 15 pounds for transport of marketing and trade show materials
  • Ability to travel overnight
