An ad agency veteran and decorated marketer, Paul Hook has led business development and marketing efforts for four regional agencies, playing an integral role in growing internal teams and ensuring client retention. Over his 35+ year career, Paul has worked with many of New York State’s leading technology, economic development, and higher education organizations. He has also played a role in promoting the Capital Region for technology and semiconductor investment, including supporting efforts to attract chip fabrication facilities.

Paul supports FuzeHub and its partner organizations with both marketing strategy and execution, including digital strategy, social media, content development, and video and podcast production.

Eric Fasser

Eric is the Solutions Program Manager for FuzeHub, helping both early-stage and established manufacturers connect to New York State resources and technical expertise that can support their operational improvement initiatives and commercialization efforts. Eric also leads hardware-focused product development efforts, like training programs and hands-on workshops, that focus on optimizing product design and preparing startups to work with contract manufacturers.

Prior to FuzeHub, Eric worked for leading manufacturing companies in various technical and product development roles across multiple industries, gathering knowledge and experience in a wide variety of materials and manufacturing methods. For several years, he also ran his own engineering firm where he supported entrepreneurs and small manufacturers in designing, prototyping, and developing their innovative concepts into commercially viable products.

Eric frequently supports other organizations in the NY innovation ecosystem as an advisor, board member, presenter, panelist, and mentor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University.

Brianna Turner is the Creative Design and Communications Specialist at FuzeHub. She handles everything from large print publication projects to social posts, newspaper advertisements, and more to promote both FuzeHub and its events.

Brianna has nearly five years working in the industry of communication design and formerly worked at a number of design agencies based in the Capital Region. Brianna holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Visual Communications with a dual focus in Advertising and Graphic Design and a dual minor in Business and Marketing from Cazenovia College.

Patty Rechberger

Patty Rechberger is the Innovation Fund Manager at FuzeHub, where she leads the Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund, a program that deploys over $1 million annually in grants and investments to support manufacturing and technology innovation across New York State. In this role, she oversees program strategy, funding decisions, and portfolio management, helping companies bridge the gap between innovation and commercialization.

Patty works with startups and established manufacturers to navigate funding opportunities and access the capital needed to advance product development, validate technologies, and prepare for market entry. She plays a key role in advancing the Fund’s mission by supporting companies through critical stages of growth.

With more than fourteen years of experience in business administration, Patty has worked extensively in the private sector in roles supporting operations, program execution, and organizational effectiveness. She brings a practical understanding of how businesses operate and the challenges they face when scaling new technologies.

Patty holds a Master of Business Administration from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Empire State College.

Karin Kasparian works as a Manager of Grants and Administration at FuzeHub. She supports the FuzeHub team in the areas of accounting and grant reporting, human resources, and general office management.

Previously Karin held the position of Program Coordinator for Business Growth Services at the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), the Capital Region’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center. While at CEG, Karin provided program support for the Business Growth Services team. She also managed the meetings, events, marketing, and websites for the Chief Executives Network for Manufacturing (CEN) and Bioconnex programs.

Kim Lloyd is an experienced leader in the internet, technology and manufacturing space. She was the Director of Operations and Enterprise Products at GlobalSpec, a portal designed to connect industrial part manufacturers with engineering professionals around the globe. In addition, she worked at MapInfo for 14 years as a Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager for several GIS software products.

As the VP of Marketing and COO of Bright Hub, Kim led the creation of a high volume, multimillion-dollar media property website from the ground up with a 12-person team and freelance network of over 3,000 writers and editors. Traffic grew from 0 to 18 million visits a month in under 4 years and was one of the top 100 website properties in the United States.

In addition to her duties at FuzeHub, Kim’s company, Latham Group Consulting, has helped clients in the IT, healthcare, and manufacturing industries design and build small websites to large-scale portals.

As Director of Special Projects for FuzeHub, Kim is responsible for guiding the efforts of several programs targeted at helping small to mid-size manufacturers including supply chain projects, as well as overseeing the technology driving the FuzeHub B2B Connection portal.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from SUNY Buffalo State and an MBA in Management and Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
