Ms. Mann co-founded FuzeHub in 2012 and served as its Executive Director until May 2015 securing $2.5 million in federal, state and private grant sponsorship establishing it as New York’s direct connector for manufacturers to the state’s multi-disciplinary network of technology, expertise and program resources. She currently serves FuzeHub in a lead role for a new Advanced Robotics initiative helping FuzeHub to coalesce a strong network of advanced robotics and automation resources and solutions providers in partnership with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as co-leaders of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Robotics Innovation Collaborative (RRIC) of the National Advanced Robotics Manufacturing Institute (ARM). In this role she will enable greater access to advanced robotics resources for the acceleration and adoption of robotics technologies leading to business, economic and competitive benefit for New York’s manufacturers and workforce.
An executive business professional with technology commercialization, economic development and business consulting experience she additionally holds a position with Ceres Technologies as Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Mann’s diverse experience in providing strategic and business consulting services includes work with early stage startups, manufacturing and technology companies as a Program Director with the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), with responsibilities for a number of entrepreneur and venture funding programs, business consulting and technology commercialization services, as well as operational support to the Eastern NY Angels investor group. As a Partner and co-founder of Glenmont Partners LLC and Glenmont Venture Capital Management she sought limited partner commitments for investment into early-stage technology companies from January 2007 until December 2008. Prior to Glenmont Partners she served as an Investment Principal with New York State’s Small Business Technology Investment Fund where she was responsible for sourcing, researching, structuring and negotiating venture investments in early-stage technology companies throughout the state.
Ms. Mann holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University at Albany and a M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Lally School of Management and Technology. She resides in the Saratoga Springs area with her partner, John Boutin, and their German Shepard, Finley.
