The Center for Global Advanced Manufacturing (CGAM) is building laboratories to provide New York manufacturers with access to state-of-the-art technologies that cost more than many small companies can afford. Known as SMARTT labs, these SUNY Manufacturing Alliance for Research and Technology Transfer (SMARTT) facilities offer access to advanced equipment such as 3D printers and a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
