HTR to get $2.5M in federal funding for Sibley Square HQ
“High Tech Rochester Inc. will receive $2.5 million in federal funding through the U.S. Economic Development Administration for its business accelerator downtown. The agency plans to build the accelerator on the sixth floor of Sibley Square, the redeveloped Sibley Building, on East Main Street. It is estimated to create 100 new startup businesses and 1,000 new jobs within the first five years of operation, the U.S. Department of Commerce said”

Manufacturer to expand to Rochester, add 59 jobs
“Seisenbacher Rail Interiors Inc., a manufacturer of rail car interiors, and a leading supplier of rail car interiors in Europe, is expanding into the U.S. market and has selected Rochester as its home base of manufacturing operations, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday. The family-owned, Austrian company plans to invest some $1.7 million for equipment and property on Humboldt Street and will create 59 jobs over five years, Cuomo said.”
