FuzeHub’s recent Medical Device Manufacturing Solutions Forum in Buffalo connected 37 members from 25 companies with 30 experts from 23 resources. The attendees for the May 13, 2019 event also included six guests and eight walk-ins. Held in partnership with the University at Buffalo and MedTech, a leading trade group, the Medical Device Solutions Forum included matching discussions, networking, and a reception.

“New York State has a great ecosystem for medical device manufacturers,” said Everton H. Henriques, NY MEP Solutions Director at FuzeHub. “At our Medical Device Manufacturing Solutions Forum in Buffalo, companies connected with resources who can help them to solve challenges in areas such as ceramics, optics, electronics and software for medical devices and applications.”

Through a series of one-on-one meetings, the companies who attended this event learned about available business and technical assistance from resources that receive state, local, or federal funding. Prior to the event, FuzeHub selected resources based on their expertise and assessed each company’s needs. FuzeHub then matched the registrants to resources so that companies could learn more about available assistance.

FuzeHub’s Medical Device Solutions Forum at the University of Buffalo also forged connections between companies who came in search of business opportunities. FuzeHub’s next event, a Manufacturing and Agriculture B2B Showcase at Herkimer College, is scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2019. Click here to learn more and register.
