News From The Innovation Fund: Commercialization Competition 2020 Application Period

While we have had to make some adjustments to the process and to the event, the FuzeHub team is looking forward to the launch of our fourth Commercialization Competition. The application period opened August 1st and will close Friday, August 31st promptly at 4:00 PM EST.
There are a few key changes this year so take time to review the updated guidelines and competition requirements. The CC 2020 web-page has helpful resources, a link to our competition info-session, the competition timeline, and important information regarding FuzeHub’s investment requirement (SAFE). For all of the latest Commercialization Competition 2020 information, visit https://fuzehub.com/commercialization-competition/.
Companies will compete to demonstrate the commercialization potential of their technology or product and can win up to $50,000. This competition is intended to help small and medium-sized manufacturing and technology companies strengthen their “go-to-market” strategies as they move from new product/production method to marketplace. Top applicants will be considered “finalists” and invited to “pitch” virtually to a panel of judges at the Commercialization Competition on November 19, 2020.
The Commercialization Competition has awarded $850,000 in funding to fifteen New York State early stage companies since its inception in 2017. Our past awardees have been working hard to bring their products to market but have also had to pivot and repurpose during these challenging times. The Innovation Fund is planning to feature Success Story profiles from our competition winners to showcase their achievements and accomplishments over the last four years. Look for their stories in the weeks ahead.
