John Kappel

John Kappel is a seasoned leader in the additive manufacturing industry, with a passion for driving innovation and creativity within his community. As the founder and CEO of Innosek, he has grown the organization since inception to becoming a leading additive manufacturing company within New York State. With expertise in operations, marketing, culture, and leadership, he has a proven track record of success in the industry and led Innosek to win Manufacturing Awards in Innovation (2020) and Community Involvement (2022).

In addition to his professional accomplishments, John is deeply committed to giving back to the community and advancing STEM education. He is a vocal advocate for the importance of inspiring the next generation of innovators and engineers through his work as a board member within the Western New York Invention Convention. John is also a volunteer mentor for business owners within the WEDI and IC Success/EforAll programs, as well a member of and contributor to the University at Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Entrepreneurs Forever, and Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance.
