FuzeHub’s last Solutions Forum of 2017 is less than two weeks away. This is your final chance to make face-to-face connections at one of these signature events this year. If you’re on Long Island, don’t miss the opportunity to meet over 25 business and technical resources right in your own backyard. Time is running out, but that’s not the only reason to join us at Stony Brook University on September 21.

FuzeHub Solutions Forums are where New York State manufacturers make face-to-face connections with experts who can help them to solve a wide range of challenges. Do you need assistance with product development, manufacturing scale-up, funding, or financing? Maybe you’re concerned about workforce development, lean manufacturing, exporting, sustainability, or materials research instead. When you attend a Solutions Forum, you can make connections with experts in these and other areas.

Innovation on Long Island

FuzeHub’s last Solutions Forum of 2017 will be held at Stony Brook University (SBU), home to decades’ worth of important discoveries. For example, did you know that researchers there used a single electron to create the smallest electric switch in the world?  SBU researchers also discovered abciximab, a drug that’s recommended for cardiac angioplasties. When you attend FuzeHub’s Solutions Forum on Long Island, you can learn more about available SBU resources – and how they can work with you.

You’ll also meet members of the Manufacturing Technology Resource Consortium (MTRC), the event’s co-sponsor and Long Island’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center. Don’t worry if you don’t remember MEP, MTRC, and all of the other acronyms you may hear about. When you attend a Solutions Forum, you’ll make face-to-face connections with people – experts who will listen to your business and technical needs and help guide you towards real-world solutions.

Find Out Who Can Help

FuzeHub’s Long Island Solutions Forum is also where you can connect with resources from other leading universities and MEP centers from across New York State. Experts from additional organizations that receive state, local, or federal funding will be on-hand as well. If you’re like most manufacturers, finding the time to address pressing challenges is challenging enough. That’s why meeting with so many different resources under one roof is a smart, efficient approach.

Finally, isn’t it time to think about 2018? It’s easy to get bogged down in day-to-day details of managing a department or running a business, but 2017 is winding down with just one more quarter to go. So take some time to assess your company’s challenges and register for the Long Island Solutions Forum. It’s the place and the time to plan for your success.
