FuzeHub is currently accepting applications to fill the role of an Industry Engagement Manager. The successful candidate for this position will support the Executive Director in overseeing and managing overall engagement with the manufacturing community, primarily through management of the Technology Engagement Fund. The Industry Engagement Manager will also be responsible for several business development and planning activities as it relates to engaging with the manufacturing community though the organization of events and other lead generation activities.
The Industry Engagement Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of FuzeHub’s efforts to reach and engage small and mid-sized manufacturers (SMEs) throughout New York State. This includes responsibility for innovating and implementing new processes and methods to increase that engagement, and working with the Executive Team to provide strategic direction to accomplish the FuzeHub mission. The Industry Engagement Manager will lead efforts to manage a new micro fund for manufacturing and commercialization projects, working with a statewide team to administer awards, events and challenges.
Crucial to this role will be the need to contribute to/manage the Salesforce CRM and email marketing data to track the engagement process and build and grow the pool of manufacturers, resources, and profiles of the companies engaged with FuzeHub.
Candidates for this position will have a strong background and skills in project management and business development and marketing/conference management, as well as experience in creating and implementing new programs. Candidates must have the communication and facilitation skills necessary to cultivate partners who are knowledgeable about the manufacturing process and the process of bringing ideas to market.
