FuzeHub’s Solutions Program connects New York State manufacturers to a network of experts who help small-to-medium companies overcome obstacles to growth. Whether you’re a start-up or an established entity, you’ll work with people who understand your business – and who are ready to share their application knowledge and technical expertise.

Manufacturers who submit an online request for assistance through FuzeHub’s Solutions Portal receive personalized assistance from the FuzeHub team. This guided process enables companies with business or technical challenges to harness the power of public, private, and university resources from across New York State. If you’re ready to get started, FuzeHub is ready to help you.

What is the Solutions Program?

As New York’s statewide Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center, FuzeHub can connect you with regional MEP centers, local economic development organizations, universities, private sector businesses, and a host of assets funded by NYSTAR, the Division of Science, Technology and Innovation within Empire State Development (ESD) – New York State’s economic development agency.

That may seem like a lot of acronyms to absorb, but FuzeHub understands that you probably don’t have time to figure out who’s who and what’s where across the entire state. In other words, we appreciate that you’ve got a product to launch, a business to start, or a factory to run. That’s why it’s important to find end-to-end solutions and work efficiently.

Available 24/7

Getting started with FuzeHub’s Solutions Program is just a few clicks away – and at any time of day. Use your Web browser to visit the FuzeHub website and request a consultation with a manufacturing expert. Then complete the short online form. In addition to entering basic information such as your name and email address, scroll through the lists of services and select the ones that best describe what you need.

Next, briefly describe your need or goal in your own words. For example, maybe you’ve indicated that you need engineering consulting and design services. Do you have an idea for a product, or are you ready to send a CAD file or blueprint to an engineer? Maybe you’ve got a working prototype, but need help with design for manufacturability instead. Remember to tell us about your business type, too.

The Initial Assessment

What happens after you submit a request for assistance through the FuzeHub Solutions Portal? Within 24 hours, you’ll receive an email from one of our manufacturing experts. This isn’t an automated communication. Rather, it’s a personal message from the FuzeHub team member who will help guide you through our Solutions Program.

As part of this process, your FuzeHub manufacturing expert will find a mutually convenient time to speak with you by phone. The purpose of this initial call is to clarify your request and to learn more about your specific challenges. Sometimes, our assessment uncovers additional needs. For example, if you’re asked about contract manufacturing, we might discover that you need design assistance, too.

What Happens Next?

In our next article about the Solutions Program, you’ll learn what happens after the initial assessment – and how FuzeHub’s manufacturing experts identify business and technical resources for your specific challenge. In the meantime, why wait for assistance? It only takes a few minutes to complete a request. To get started now, request a consultation with a manufacturing expert.
