On December 1st, 2021, Empire State Development’s Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR), along with NY Ventures and NYBEST, held a Virtual Job Fair that showcased employment opportunities within clean tech, advanced materials, battery manufacturing, energy storage and other fast-growing technology sectors. Today, job seekers can still find exciting opportunities on the Jobs page of New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) website.
During last month’s on-line event, many qualified candidates were connected to industry leaders from across the state to fill highly competitive and in-demand roles. Available job titles included production operator, electrical engineer, quality engineer, electrical assembler, associate engineer, welder, laboratory technician, battery design engineer, and project developer. FuzeHub, the statewide NY MEP center, moderated the event in Remo, an on-line platform that offers an interactive experience.
Although the virtual job fair is now complete, job seekers can still find exciting employment opportunities in fast-growing technology sectors. Raymond Corporation, pavilion, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Plug Power, Energy Materials Corporation (EMC), NOHMS/Sionic, and many other organizations have full-time positions available. There are three pages of jobs in all, including some positions that were posted after the December 1st virtual event.
