This week, FuzeHub’s Everton H. Henriques and the New York State Rehabilitation Association (NYSRA) spoke at the 2017 ACCSES Annual Conference. The Conference is an annual gathering in Washington DC that brings together key disability service providers from across the country to advance public policy and advocacy.
NYSRA stated: “Everton H. Henriques from FuzeHub, was terrific and shared with our audience of workcenter operators from around the country the ‘secret ingredient’ for success to transform workcenters to sustainable businesses—Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEP)! Over half a dozen Employment Service Organizations (ESO) from different states saw the value and are interested in working with us in the future.”
Everton shared the work that the FuzeHub/NYSRA partnership has done in New York State – the development and implementation of MEP personnel training to work with sheltered workshops, and the subsequent partnership of the Regional MEP Centers across NYS to help these workshops become more sustainable.
“These workshops are manufacturers and are a valuable part of the manufacturing supply chain in New York State and nationally. Helping them transform into real sustainable businesses is NYSRA, FuzeHub and NYMEP’s goal and it is very rewarding to see how eagerly some of these agencies are looking at transforming their business approach to a more sustainable model with MEP assistance,” said Everton.
