GE to pump millions into 3-D printing

General Electric is seeking to streamline the way it makes fuel nozzles for jet engines by investing tens of millions of dollars into 3-D printing. According to a report by Bloomberg, GE plans to triple the 70-person 3-D printing staff in its aviation business and expand its factory by four times. An analyst projects that the investment would propel the 3-D printing industry, tripling it to a $6 billion in the next three years. More
