Chris Keimel
CTO at Menlo Micro
Chris is the Chief Technology Officer at Menlo Micro, a high-growth technology company that is setting a new standard for switch technology in modern electrical and electronic systems. He leads the company’s technology strategy and development, driving innovation and bringing micro-scale switching solutions to market with unmatched performance, reliability, and efficiency while reducing the cost of ownership.
Before Menlo Micro, Chris played a key role in launching GE’s Metal MEMS technology, leading its development for over a decade. He served as Principal Investigator on DARPA and NSF programs and contributed to GE’s nanotechnology research, with a focus on block copolymer lithography, nanopatterning, and quantum dot material systems.
Chris holds 27 granted patents with over 15 pending applications, has authored publications in Nature, APL, and other leading journals, and has delivered numerous invited talks and conference presentations. He teaches MEMS courses at GE and SUNY Binghamton, reviews for technical journals, and previously co-organized the MRS MEMS symposium.
