The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center of New York’s Hudson Valley, the Hudson Valley Technology Development Center (HVTDC) recently relocated from their Newburgh location to Highland, bringing the MEP closer to the State University of New York at New Paltz, and the college’s talent and resources.

SUNY New Paltz has positioned themselves as a valuable asset in the region particularly with the Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center (HVAMC) that is now located on the college’s campus. The HVAMC brings together students and faculty to work on projects involving prototyping, which benefits many HVTDC clients.
The partnership with HVTDC and SUNY New Paltz grows stronger with this relocation as students will have closer access to hands-on experience assisting small to mid-size manufacturing and early-stage companies through the local MEP center. More
