Governor Cuomo announced a $650 million initiative to advance New York’s life sciences industry cluster. It includes a highly competitive R&D tax credit for life sciences companies; funding to improve available lab space and equipment; new investment capital, a life science “launch” competition, and advisory panels for early stage firms; and talent development and attraction programs.
