FuzeHub seeks Marketing and Events Coordinator

 
FuzeHub serves small to medium sized manufacturers by making connections and introductions to the appropriate resources and programs available to assist in their growth through a variety of programs and activities. The successful candidate for this position will assist FuzeHub with marketing and social media and support of various events FuzeHub holds across New York State.  We are looking for a candidate with positive energy and creativity.

Job Functions & Tasks:

Supports the FuzeHub team with activities including, but not limited to: assistance with FuzeHub’s events, marketing and communications functions, special project and report writing, database management, PR and media/social media activities, administrative support for industry research and outreach.
Responsibilities may include:

• Assist in communications and marketing activities, including but not limited to:
  • Research, data entry, and pulling lists via e-marketing and CRM system
  • Posting across social media platforms and respond to questions and inquires on a daily basis, mainly: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+
  • Taking/collecting photographs from each of the events and posting them online
  • Compiling New York State articles for the weekly Round Up and inputting into wordpress
  • Compiling material for newsletter
  • Writing signature event-related posts for the blog
• Support and assistant of events, including but not limited to
  • Securing space
  • Managing logistics
  • Recruiting attendees
  • Working with marketing multipliers
  • Making cold calls
  • Event/travel arrangements for staff
• Other support and administrative assistance as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Proven success in communication and writing
• Experience in web applications, design and database management and e-marketing
• Creative thinker and experience using technology and design tools
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Physical Characteristics

• Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds for transport of marketing and tradeshow materials
