Dan Voce

Dan Voce is the Vice President of Operations at the FX Matt Brewing Company, in Utica, NY. Dan has been in the Food/Beverage Manufacturing Industry for over 25 years, starting in Maintenance and Engineering and growing into full Operational and Business oversight. His career in Food Manufacturing has been diverse, including roles in frozen dough, baby food, oils, and ultimately in beverage. Prior to entering the food/beverage industry, Dan served in the US Navy and a short stint in the semiconductor industry.

Dan is a passionate advocate for workforce development in the Central NY region and served on two Boards of Education for 12+ years. He is an advisory board member for Mohawk Valley Advanced Institute of Manufacturing, and also an Advisory Board Member for the SUNY Poly Microbiology and Chemistry Department. He was the past President of MBAA Western New York District and former committee chair of the Food Safety Committee for MBAA, which trains and teaches other Breweries in Food Safety and Quality Programs nationwide. Dan also is a certified Plant Maintenance Journeyman through the NYS journeyman program.
