Scott Nichols

Senior Engineer, Rochester Institute of Technology

Scott Nichols is a senior staff engineer at the Golisano Institute of Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is responsible for project management in technology integration projects and serves as the technical lead for database and web application development. His strong analytical and technical background is applied to problem solving in a variety of commercial, government, and internal projects. Recent projects have focused on design optimization, advanced information systems integration and Augmented Reality work instructions system. Mr. Nichols has over 25 years’ professional experience in a variety of engineering and manufacturing environments, where he has been involved in product design, manufacturing engineering support, and process design.

Mr. Nichols holds an MS in Manufacturing Management and Leadership from Rochester Institute of Technology, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an AS in Mechanical Engineering from Waterbury State Technical College.
