Vitality in the Valley, the annual food, beverage, and agriculture event in the Mohawk Valley of New York, is returning on June 4-5, 2024 with an exciting new twist. This fifth edition of the event will feature an enhanced focus on the local culinary scene, offering attendees the opportunity to savor the flavors of the region.
The event, hosted at Herkimer County Community College in Herkimer, New York, will bring together the diverse food, beverage, and agricultural ecosystem of the area. Cory Albrecht, the Director of the Advanced Institute of Manufacturing (AIM) at Mohawk Valley Community College, is enthusiastic about the event’s evolution.
“We’re looking to bring together the food and beverage manufacturers that we have. We’re looking at the breweries and the distilleries and the wineries and the soda producers and the coffee roasters, and it goes on and on. And if you’re dealing with baking products, right? The doughs and the breads and and all that. Any meat processors? If you’re processing livestock, we’re looking to attract those companies at this event, as well as all the dairy producers too, which we have a ton of here in the Mohawk Valley.”
In addition to the pairing of local cuisine and handcrafted drinks, the event will feature educational opportunities and a pre-event reception for exhibitors, providing a comprehensive experience for all attendees.
Whether you’re a food enthusiast, a beverage connoisseur, or simply someone who appreciates the bounty of the Mohawk Valley, Vitality in the Valley is an event you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars and get ready to indulge in the flavors that make this region so vibrant and delicious.
