Vitality in the Valley expo showcases the region as hotspot for innovation, collaboration and economic growth while bringing together New York State’s food, agriculture and manufacturing sectors

FuzeHub, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting New York State manufacturers and technology companies, will spotlight the resilient growth of the Mohawk Valley’s manufacturing ecosystem at its upcoming event, “Vitality in the Valley.”

Taking place June 6-7 at Herkimer College, Vitality in the Valley will connect companies in food, agriculture and manufacturing — three sectors that have emerged as key drivers of the regional economy — while also providing access to resources that can fuel their growth.

As these economic sectors continue to rise, the Mohawk Valley has gained an enviable position as home to notable companies that are growing and advancing technology within their industries. FuzeHub’s Vitality in the Valley event serves as a platform to showcase the region’s achievements while creating even more potential by fostering new opportunities for collaboration.

“The Mohawk Valley has a tremendous manufacturing ecosystem and business leaders that are invested in the area — there’s a lot to be excited about, especially in the food and agribusiness sectors,” said FuzeHub Executive Director Elena Garuc. “This event creates a space for companies, both regionally and elsewhere in the state, to have conversations that can lead to even more innovation or potential partnerships. They’ll find a unique platform to connect, exchange ideas and explore new avenues for growth.”

Exhibitors and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with potential buyers and suppliers, engage with industry experts, learn about cutting-edge technologies, explore distribution channels, discover funding opportunities and network with peers.

Vitality in the Valley will also feature panel discussions providing insights into industry trends, best practices and strategies, including:

  • Workforce Development: The latest on what’s being done to upskill workers in the region and beyond. Attendees will learn about micro-credentials from SUNY plus workforce development programs, including available grants.
  • Industry Funding: A primer on funding sources for New York State Manufacturers and Innovators.

As the statewide center for the New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP), FuzeHub is organizing the Vitality in the Valley Manufacturing Expo alongside Empire State Development’s Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR). Event partners and sponsors are the Advanced Institute for Manufacturing (AIM), Herkimer College, Herkimer County IDA, Mohawk Valley Community College, Mohawk Valley Edge and National Grid.

Manufacturers are encouraged to attend, connect and access new opportunities for growth. Register here.
