SecondMuse is excited to announce that applications for SecondMuse x NYSERDA’s second M-Corps cohort are now live.   They’re looking for six cleantech startups who are paving the way for a more sustainable future, especially those with strong teams and products who need assistance scaling up to manufacturing. Alumni of the first class include Tarform, Farmshelf, & Unique Electric Solutions.
M-Corps, a manufacturing program by SecondMuse in NYC, and NextCorps in Rochester, is the newest edition to NYSERDA’s cleantech startup suite of programs. M-Corps focuses on getting founders through the Valley of Death to launch pilots, fulfill first orders, and get new cleantech products to market. NYSERDA funds a number of programs to take cleantech ideas from concept to market across the globe.
M-Corps mission is to provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process so that founders feel more confident, make fewer mistakes, and are able to scale up production to meet customer and client needs now and in the future. From early design for manufacturing to refining a prototype, to negotiating partner and supplier agreements, to logistics management, M-Corps is dedicated to helping navigate time-sensitive, critical decisions throughout the full manufacturing process.
The team will be hosting info sessions to learn more about the M-Corps manufacturing program, about the statewide coalition of manufacturing support you can access, and answer questions about the application.

  • Info Session III: at SecondMuse – August 21 @ 6:30pm
  • Info Session IV: at New Lab – August 27 @ noon
  • Info Session V: Webinar – Sept 4 @ 1pm

Applications are open through Sept 9.
