Interim Creative Design Specialist 

Reports to: 

Executive Director and Managers 


25-30 hours a week | 6 month contract 

Objective/Summary of Responsibilities:

FuzeHub is seeking an Interim Creative Design Specialist for short-term employment, ending June 2022. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the FuzeHub brand continues to stay strong and relevant in New York State and beyond. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns and projects for the organization that enhance FuzeHub’s brand and its communications. We are seeking a creative designer with a good eye and attention to detail and experience moving marketing projects from concept to completion.

Job Functions & Tasks:

  • Create and design marketing materials/ads
  • Create email campaigns (via Constant Contact) and assist with scheduling and implementation
  • Design and help coordinate event campaign materials
  • Create social media content and assist with scheduling and implementation
  • Create landing pages and update website with front-end customization (WordPress using the Elementor page builder plugin)
  • Must be able/willing to come into our office on a hybrid basis (which may change as COVID requirements change)
  • May require some event travel
  • At least 2 years of experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and basic knowledge of HTML and animation
  • Degree in creative design, advertising, or related field preferred
  • Experience designing and wireframing webpages, WordPress knowledge a plus
  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of current design and technology trends
  • Proven success in communication and writing
  • Experience in web applications, design and database management, and e-marketing
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize own work
