Virtual Solutions Forum Examines Machining And Fabrication Post-covid-19

FuzeHub recently held its first Virtual Solutions Forum, an on-line event that supported physical distancing while providing an experience similar to a FuzeHub Solutions Forum in the physical world. Using a digital platform called Remo, NYS manufacturers navigated a virtual venue with tables, chairs, a stage, and multiple floors.  Attendees met with hand-picked resources who offered business and technical assistance and gained expert insights about machining and fabrication post-COVID-19. “Great platform and great way to continue the Solutions Forums during these uncertain times,” said one attendee.
Machining and Fabrication Post-COVID: A FuzeHub Virtual Solutions Forum was held in partnership with the Manufacturing Innovation Center (MIC) at Rensselaer, which, in addition to Mannix Marketing, was also an event sponsor. The event began with opening remarks by Everton H. Henriques, NY MEP Solutions Director. Daniel F. Walczyk, Ph.D., PE, director of the MIC at Rensselaer, then shared insights about COVID-19-related manufacturing challenges and solutions. The keynote address was given by David Dussault, the founder and CEO of P1 Industries and a popular speaker who was featured recently in Forbes magazine.
FuzeHub’s first Virtual Solutions Forum attracted nearly 170 registrants from across New York State. The 60 companies who signed up were invited to meet-up with 30 hand-picked resources, many from regional Manufacturing Extension Partnership Centers (MEPs), university-based Centers for Advanced Technology (CAT), and other NYSTAR assets that are funded by Empire State Development (ESD). If you missed this valuable event but need help with a manufacturing challenge, request a consultation with FuzeHub.
