Single Serve Machine Project: We are being placed on the bids for the 2019-2020 New York State School Food Service Program to satisfy the new legislation put in place that requires a portion of foods provided to students are healthy, local products. Once we raise the funds to purchase the necessary equipment, we will be able to produce single serve granola pouches, using New York State ingredients and fulfill the requirement for New York Schools. We have a location (in partnership with Foodlink) where we can produce the granola, but we’re lacking the capital needed to purchase the packaging equipment for the finished product. As the current school year is coming to a close, we are eager to purchase the equipment and begin production for the new school year.
