Grow fresh and flavorful culinary herbs using less energy than a single light bulb: Íko Systems is designing smart micro-greenhouses, and our technology will enable consumers to mimic the climate of anywhere in the world in order to grow fresh and flavorful culinary herbs using less energy than a single light bulb. For the past six weeks, we have been Alpha testing in Ithaca, NY with four in-house-fabricated prototypes, and the feedback has been phenomenal. Our next huge milestone is implementing this feedback for Beta testing. We plan to factory manufacture 35 of our units to put into the homes of individuals in upstate NY, Long Island, and NYC. This round of testing will last 2-3 months, the feedback will ensure we design a product that people love, and Beta Testing will lead into commercial pre-orders!
